Beyond The Backyard combines personalized training with the fun and enrichment of a full day out. You drop your dog off with us, and we create a day based around their individual needs, personality, and training goals. Some days might include focused obedience work at our facility. Other days might take us out into the community for a hike, a field trip, or real-world practice. We believe dogs learn best when training becomes part of everyday life. That’s why Beyond The Backyard isn’t about spending hours drilling commands. It’s about creating meaningful opportunities for your dog to learn while they’re doing the things dogs love.

Our Puppy Training program is designed for puppies 8 weeks - 5 months old, a critical period for learning confidence, manners, and social skills.
 In a structured, safe environment, puppies will:
Learn basic manners – sit, down, stay, come, and polite greetings
Build focus and impulse control – paying attention even with distractions
Gain confidence – exploring new sights, sounds, and experiences
Develop social skills – safe, positive interactions with people and other dogs

Each Board & Train program is customized to your dog's age, personality, training history, and individual goals. Whether you're raising a new puppy, building reliable obedience, or addressing challenging behaviors, every program follows a personalized curriculum designed to create lasting success. Dogs train with us Monday through Friday, then go home on weekends to practice their new skills with their family through guided homework. This helps transfer training and behaviors from our facility into the home, where they matter most. Dogs return the following week to continue building on their progress, creating lasting, real-world results through a partnership between professional training and the family.

Behavioral Board & Train Â

Every training plan is individualized using reward-based methods and addresses the root cause of unwanted behaviors.
